Nathalie & Remi, Nunsmere Hall

Today we returned to the beautiful Nunsmere Hall in Northwich for the wedding of Nathalie and Remi. We had worked alongside this lovely couple for many months, planning every last detail of their stunning day. Living in Australia, but with family in France and many other countries, this well-travelled couple wanted to reflect their international background in their day, as well as honouring their traditional French heritage.

The minute you entered the Hall you were greeted with the stunning floral arrangements from The Potting Shed, luxurious foliage and beautiful roses cascading down the bannisters.

Our handwritten blackboard signs welcomed guests and provided timings for the day ahead.

The ceremony took place at St Andrew's Church in Tarvin, where guests threw confetti of dried lilac petals, wrapped up in little map cones, and displayed on a rustic frame.

The tables for the Wedding Breakfast were named after the different places the couple had visited, so we thought we would reflect this by creating a unique seating plan. Each table was represented by a giant polaroid photo of the couple in each location.

Before entering the marquee guests were greeted by the Photo Booth area - polaroid camera, twine washing line to hang the photos on, and an array of props. There was a definite Aussie theme here!

The couple created thoughtful, handmade favours for their guests of dried lavender bags and homemade jams.

Guests helped to capture the memories of the day with the help of selfie sticks, disposable cameras and a hashtag...

The unique guestbook, with guests writing messages on wooden hearts, created a beautiful keepsake for the couple to look back on, kept in a personalised engraved glass case.

The marquee itself was filled with foliage and beautiful blooms, from the stunning centrepieces, to the floral chandeliers and backdrop (check out that top table display!)

Places were marked out with stylish purple name cards displayed on rose gold champagne corks. Whilst we were very keen on the prospect of having to drink 89 bottles of champagne to create this look, we managed to source a supplier of unused corks instead!

The cake table was surrounded by rustic stepladders displaying a selection of family photos, a beautiful way to personalise the day.

The cake itself was created by the amazingly talented Sarah at Pink Cocoa. Each white sugar peony was created by hand, and the lilac lily design was hand painted onto the icing.

All in all a stunningly beautiful day for a fabulous couple. We hope they had a fantastic day, and wish them every happiness in their future together!
