Chris & Emma, Delamere Events

Emma and Chris had their big day on 6th August 2016, one of the hottest and most glorious days of the summer. They chose Delamere Events as their reception venue, and it was an absolute pleasure to help design their special day. The stunning lakeside setting and huge marquee were transformed to fit their rustic/vintage style - using a combination of our decor and lovely handmade touches from both families. Easily one of the loveliest couples we've ever had the pleasure of working with!

One of our handwritten blackboard signs welcomed guests into the marquee with a Order of the Day.

The main room of the marquee was decorated with our pink and green floral bunting, along with a few pom pom clusters.

Lots of rustic touches were added, with our vintage ladder display holding candles in jam jars and pickling jars.

Emma's mum did the beautiful flowers herself, complemented perfectly by the log slices and decorated jam jars.

Chris designed the table plan himself, being a graphic designer - we simply had to provide the frame!

Their amazing naked cake only just survived the heat of the day! That delicious looking mountain of fresh fruit and cream only just fitted on our log slice cake base!

Our polaroid frame photo booth went down a treat with the guests - a great way to collect memories and messages from loved ones, whilst also creating a fab display.

The August weather was perfect for the summer fete style entertainment - once again it looks like our traditional games proved a hit with guests old and young!
