Amy & Gavin, Ness Botanic Gardens

This summer we've had the pleasure to work with some wonderful couples on some truly unique weddings. This post is about the special day of Amy & Gavin, which took place on a scorching hot day in July at the gorgeous Ness Botanic Gardens. Ness Gardens is a venue we've always loved to visit, the perfect setting to suit the natural style of Amy & Gavin's day. The ceremony was conducted in the Rock Garden, and needed minimal decoration - just look at that beautiful setting!

The whole day was filled with little rustic but feminine touches, and we worked closely with Amy to ensure that her decor was not only in keeping with this scheme, but that it complemented the natural elements of the venue. (Lovely natural flowers were provided by Alright Petal http://www.alrightpetal.co.uk)

Guests made good use of our sheet music cone confetti - made from all natural dried petals.

We dressed the room simply with hessian chair bows and gypsophila sprigs...

... along with log slice and jam jar centrepieces to hold the lovely arrangements from Alright Petal.

We also provided place cards on mini pegs, and wildflower seed packet favours :)

The beautiful conservatory setting of the reception needed little decoration, the main attraction being the stunning views out over the gardens beyond. Our only other addition was sheer voile panels to soften the ceiling bars.

All in all a gorgeous, natural day for two lovely, lovely people. We wish them every happiness together!
