Which areas do you cover?
 
We can cover the whole of the UK for item hire delivery. For venues within 50 miles of our base at CH45 (Wirral, Merseyside) we can offer personal delivery and collection. For venues further afield we use the DPD courier service. For venue styling services we can cover venues within 50 miles of our base.
 
 
 
Which items can be sent via courier?
 
We can send out any items marked on the website with the grey van icon. DPD places limitations on size, weight and restricted materials such as glass, hence why we are unable to send all items.
 
 
 
How much does courier delivery cost?
 
Return courier delivery starts at £30, and will vary depending on the amount of items you wish to hire. Just ask for a quote.
 
 
 
How do I return couriered items?
 
You have two options for returning couriered items.
1. We can arrange for a DPD courier to collect the items on a nominated day between 8am-6pm.
2. You can drop the items off at your nearest DPD Drop-off Shop on an agreed day. Find your nearest shop here.
 
We ask that you retain all packaging, and return the items packaged in the condition that you received them.
 
 
 
How much does personal delivery cost?
 
Personal delivery and collection is free of charge within 15 miles of our base at CH45, and we charge 50p per mile thereafter, up to a total of 50 miles away. For example, delivery to a venue in central Manchester (50 miles away) would cost 200-15 = 185 miles x 50p per mile = £92.50 (return delivery and collection).
 
 
 
Are all of your items PAT tested?
 
Yes, all of our electrical items are PAT tested every year to meet current UK standards. PAT test certificates can be provided if your venue requires to see them.
 
 
 
Do you have Public Liability insurance?
 
Yes, our Public Liability cover insures us for up to £3,000,000. If your venue requires a Certificate of Public Liability Insurance please just let us know.
 
 
 
Can I pick up hire items myself?
 
Yes, local pick up and collection is free of charge.
 
 
 
How long can I hire items for?
 
With personal delivery we usually deliver items either on the morning of or evening before the event, and collect the again the morning after. If you are collecting items in person just arrange with us when would be the most convenient for you. For items sent out by courier you will usually receive them 2-3 days prior to your event, and are expected to return them on the first working day following the event. If you require a longer period of hire just ask!
